So as you probably know I am from the UK- some things are hard to get hold of over here. I want to do a kind of 'swap' with someone who has access to some of the products we cant get over here.
The idea is we both set a budget, say exactly what we were after..and get as much as we can for that price...then post to each other and swap.
The concept is to avoid ridiculous postage charges from over sea's and to have some fun shopping for someone other than yourself!

My new lost/found love: Kitsch
Okay guys, so a bit of a confession. For ages now I have been in Lurrrve with tacky kitsch things. I think it started when i was 15 when I bought myself a "cherry" handbag... which i used daily....a few years down the line that gets chucked.
But there is one kitsch thing which i cannot get rid of...and luckily i still LOVE it!
so here goes...
To the left you can see some angel wings (unfortuatley not paired next to each other like they should be) but yes there they are in their full glory on screen. They also are in full glory on my lower back....as a TATTOO! very small just under where my trouser seam would go..! Thats one kitsch obsession gone too far you would think...but for some reason I still want a bow, and a swallow tattoo maybe on my wrist?
Enough of what I might get, let me show you a mini haul of some kitsch jewlerry i bought in the last month or so.
I wonder what tack will enter my collection next month?

2) feeling a bit "tubby" and overweight, and realising its not long til the summer.

Beauty Tricks
sorry guys, still havnt got my camera working to show you swatches. you're just going to have to trust me on this one.
Going to share a few of my beauty tricks every month, let me know what you think?
1) Eyeliner
no matter what eyeliner I use (even my 24/7 zero!)
i don't get great colour pay off like i see on everyone else who uses it. So over these last few days i've been using a trick my mum taught me and it goes like this:
Use a lighter to heat the end of your eyeliner pencil, it warms the product, melts it a little- making it smoother too apply, more pigmented in colour and lasts longer!
2) Vaseline and it's many purposes
been using this religiously on my lips! but have been using it for many other purposes recently ahem:
Love fake tan, with a passion. I have extrmeley pale skin and i get fed up of people making the "ebony and ivory" joke lol. So let me share with you what i do to keep my glowing skin all year round.
1.After every bath/shower i mix 1 part dove gradual self tanner with 2 parts of my regular moisturiser. Using the dove on its own in my opinion makes me look "unnatural" and slightly orange, even if i buy the light version. 2.Always use moisturiser on your feet, elbows, hands, and knees before aplying any type of tanner, your skin will absorb the normal moisturiser leaving less absorption for the tan. SIMPLES
3. Ambre Solaire light mist tanning spray in light is a god send. I use it for special occasions, it doesnt streak at all and teams up well with the dove on a daily basis. 4. DONT GO OUT AND BUY A SPECIAL TANNER FOR YOUR FACE.
The ingredients are pretty much exactly the same as those in a body tanner, its just less concentrated. so mix 1 part tanner to 5 parts moisturiser (adjust acordingly) and you will see the same results as a normal tanner.
Possibly the worst examples i could show you, but you get the jist
I am drunk in both photographs (hence why i look revolting) and they are in different lighting. BUT
1) before i started using self tan
2) starting to use self tan and bronzer in my normal routines.
What do you prefer?

1. Put a coat on your eyelashes before you go to bed. Lots of people swear by this - and say it will make your lashes grow longer and thicker over time.
2. Put a coat of vaseline on your feet at night, cover them with socks and wake up to softer feet - every day!
3. Put vaseline on your elbows every day - they will stay soft!
4. Put Vaseline on your cuticles several times a day for softer and better looking cuticles every day.
5. Put Vaseline on chapped lips
(i really do not reccomend using vaseline as an eye base, it creases like f**k)

Update.. and favourite youtubers and bloggers
So firstly apologies that I havn't done any swatches, or reviews using my own camera! I'm working on it, until then im hoping the internet pictures will do the trick...Im working on it!
secondly, i thought it would be a nice idea to share my favourite youtubers with you! infact im going to make it a tag
TAG FAVOURITE YOUTUBERS, and i tag you all! I think its a great way to discover new guru's and show a little appreciation to those who are already out there. Right?

DollyisGLITTER- used to make youtube videos but not any more, i think due to personal reasons. She still has her own blog though, so check her out! Loveeee <3
Lollipop26- i came across laura when she started her collection videos months back, have been following her ever since and i can honestly say i think her videos are an addiction. And somehow after i watch her videos i end up spending yet more money. oh god.
Gemsmaquillage- I honestly believe that i was one of gemmas first subscribers, correct me if i am wrong...love watching her, think shes honest about the stuff she tries... deffinatley worth checking out.
Thecurrentcustom- Another culperate for making me spend money lorraine! Love her addiction to hauls and products and just generally love watching her...its good to hear about products in the US before they are released here in the UK and she sure does deliver! stunning girl.
Sirvinya- Love her tutorials and the way she manages to find amazing new companies. If you love minerals and more subtle looks then check her out toooooo
Panacea81- You've all heard about her no doubt, or seen her at some point in your lives. Honestly an inspiration to me, if only i had the guts to get infront of the camera like she does!

Okay so a quick list of the products i am loving this month (in no order)
Okay maybeline's dream satin liquid. I LOVE THIS STUFFI loved the dream matte mousse, the coverage was great but i hated the finnish....then the genious' at maybeline created a satin finnish..the complete opposite to matte. I use the matte mousse as a concealer and then smooth this foundation over the top and it gives me a lovely healthy glow and still manage to cover those nasties. The consistancy is fairly smooth, and feels light on the skin. LOVE!
RIMMEL VOLUME BOOSTER LIPSTICKI've, come across these loads of times recently and as a sucker for the packaging i bought 2, one in the shiney purple packaging too.
I picked up shade 102 FOXY. Its a nude pink and reminds me very much of GOSH darling. Highly reccomend this its my HG. What do you guys think of these? Also noticed that shade 200 is clear, so if you're not a fan of colour on the lips grab one! They cost about £5 i think, i think its love. Aparently they have collagen biospheres in them too-

Okay so im sure you're fed up of hearing about this! TO conclunde Hello Kittys Peppermint Patti Dupe, £4! i wear this on short short nails, and have had loads of compliments. Can be hard to get hold of these days. 3 words...BARRYMdotCOM!
HERBAL ESSENCES DANGERROUSLY STRAIGHT <3If you have frizzy,thick,curly hair like me then go get this stuff! Even if you dont want too, how pretty would these look in your shower! lol Yeah so these are buy one get one free in superdrug at the moment, SMELL amazing and does what it says on the tin. After 3 weeks of using this stuff daily my hair doesnt seem to frizzey. may be a co-insidence..but seems to do the trick. I havn't tried any of the others in the range yet, but the anti-breakage one could be a hit for me also!
NEW LOOK floral print dressokay so it's not a beauty product...or a product at all lol. But i picked this up from newlook for £22, bubble hem...looks great teamed up with a thick waist belt, black tights and gladiator heels. Fairly vercitile, could look pretty cute at glasto this summer too teamed up with wellies, what do you recon?
alright then, if you follow lollipop26 on twitter,youtube or on her blog im sure you would have heard that she thinks this is the same stuff, and i back her case on that! The brush, the packaging and the finnish is very similar! Gives lashes volume length and seperation. Oh how i love thee.
